Go!

Today I start my first official job as an RN. I have an app that gives me a "verse of the day" each morning, and this morning's verse was Matthew 28:19. Coincidence? I'd say providence. It's the little things, sometimes.

As I commision my work to the Lord this morning, I know that He is the one who is commissioning ME. This is a pretty big command:

Go. Make Disciples. Baptize. Teach. Obey.

God says I'm capable. Therefore, I go. I can assure you that if I were doing this on my own strength I wouldn't get past the "g" in "go."

Who we are (in ourselves) cannot determine what we do. Christ, who is our sole identity, ought to be the "why" and the "what" behind everything we do. It is in our identity in Christ that gives us the strength to work for Him.

In every season, there's a story. God is beginning a new chapter in mine. But, no matter where your story is at, rest in the fact that God is the author. Serve Him, and live out the great commission.

Ready? Set... Go!
